ASA newsletters cover all aspects of the Saluki with articles on health, obedience, coursing, specialty and TSE results, and statistics, in addition to special features and articles. In general, fall issues feature the annual ASA celebration and shows in Lompoc (Santa Barbara previous to 1996) and perpetual trophy winners, along with other summer specialties; winter issues feature late summer and fall specialties; Spring issues feature open field and lure coursing articles, coursing trophy winners and the ASA Desert Match; and summer issues feature a potpourri of interesting articles. Full and half-page advertising rates include one photo. Send a good quality, clear photo and text typed or clearly printed. Text files on disc or by e-mail are welcome. Digital photos/images should be submitted on recorded media, not by e-mail.
Import/export advertisements are one-quarter page and include one photo. Open to any living Saluki imported to or exported from the U.S. or Canada.
Litterly speaking advertisements are approximately one-sixth page. Information is limited to the kennel name, breeder’s name, address, telephone number, a two-generation pedigree and a very short paragraph of copy (approximately 40 words).
New title advertisements are strictly formatted; no special type or logos. They are limited to one photo cropped to the Saluki only. A three-generation pedigree must be included and copy is limited to 50 words or less. Ads are arranged alphabetically by the Saluki's name. This section
is open to any interested Saluki fancier and may not be used to advertise anything other than the title earned.
Commercial advertising. ASA membership is required.
Advertisements are limited to Saluki-related services or products, or those that would likely interest a Saluki fancier. Not to be included are advertisements for generic canine products like dog food, ordinary collars and leads, bowls, crates, etc. The rates charged will be the same as regular advertisements. The editor will decide the appropriateness of products or services. This policy is subject to review.

The ASA Caravanserais offer the fancy a unique pictorial history of the Saluki. Each volume contains formatted pages combining a pedigree, photo and comments, half-page memorials,
plus a feature section on the ASA Celebration and Perpetual Trophy winners for the years covered. The books are published every five years and feature Salukis from around the world. They are an important reference for anyone interested in the breed.
